Arizona State Liability Limits

Recently the State of Arizona has increased the State Minimum Liability Coverage. This is the coverage that you are required to carry in order to operate a motor vehicle.

The current coverage is:
  • $15,000 in liability coverage for a single person injured or killed in a crash
  • $30,000 in liability coverage for multiple people injured or killed in a crash
  • $10,000 in liability coverage for property damage in a crash
Effective July 1, 2020 the new limits will be:
  • $25,000 in liability coverage for a single person injured or killed in a crash
  • $50,000 in liability coverage for multiple people injured or killed in a crash
  • $15,000 in liability coverage for property damage in a crash
These coverage's protect you and your family against lawsuits if you are in an at fault accident. They protect your wages from being garnished and your assets from being legally taken from you.
